French Silk Pie

So this recipe is not mine nor did i find it but it is an awesome and easy recipe for French Silk Pie. I made it for the first time and had to serve it at the Relief Society Broadcast for church it only took me about 20ish minutes for prep and then stick that sucker in the fridge and let it get firm :) Here we go!

3 oz. unsweetened chocolate squares, chopped
3/4 cup butter, softened (do no substitute margarine)
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
3/4 cup egg beaters

Melt chocolate (microwave in glass bowl 50% heat 3 minutes). Cool. In mixing bowl, beat butter until fluffy. Add sugar gradually, beating until light and fluffy. Blend in cooled chocolate and vanilla. Add egg product, 1/4 cup at a time, beating at high speed for 2 minutes after each addition. (DO NOT OVERBEAT) Pour into cooled baked pie crust. Top with whipped topping and chocolate curls.
refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving. Let stand at room temp 15 ,minutes before serving. DO NOT DOUBLE
